We have a winner... and it’s a belter!
Christie’s colourful masterpiece was selected as the winner of the design-a-matchday-programme competition, and it was used for the cover of the programme for Bulls’ game against Herne Bay last weekend (Dec 20 2025).
Thanks to all who entered and to the schools that supported the competition. There were 50 fantastic entries in total from impressive local young artists! Congratulations to Christie, and to the runners-up, Joseph and Amelie. Also, to the 8 highly commended entries from Thomas, Chad, Coran, Aaliyah, Gabi, Anastasia, Nina, and Raimundo.
Christie received match tickets, a framed copy of their design, a match programme and a signed Bulls scarf. The others received a programme plus a Bulls scarf.
Judging panel included Alan Williams and Jonathon Buesnel, who handle school liaison and the SchoolZone for the club. Jack Gibbins, who edits the matchday programme. Our club secretary, Tracey Whitfield. And first team players, Lorne Bickley and Francis Lekimamati.
They were looking for originality, a Bulls-and-Christmas theme, and something that would stand out as a programme cover. We certainly got that from our winner, who also included our opponent’s badge.
